I'm Jolie Dubriel and I'd like to thank you for clicking/searching for my website. This is a brand new avenue for me so I will try my very best to stumble about to create this website. Shout out to WIX for having templates for guidance. As you've already read or seen, I have written a book. It's not a very large book or groundbreaking, but it's my version of the story of " Little Red Riding Hood". We all know the story, a girl gets eaten by the big bad wolf along with her grandmother, hunter/woodman comes to cut them out then kills the wolf. Everyone lives happily ever after, but do they really?
Every other female fairy tale characters get a happy ending but Red Riding Hood gets the short end of the stick. In this published version, I drew elements from the Hunchback of Notre Dame, Beauty and the Beast, and my own personal background. It begins like all other fairy tales, "Once upon a time" and the setting place a forest but with a young boy ferried away to the forest, but I won't get into that because we are on Red Riding Hood. My character of Red Riding Hood is a loner. She talks to no one and has no friend saved for a gray wolf. A wolf is her best friend the very thing that tormented her is now her only friend. I choose the name Artemis for the wolf because greek mythological gods who watches over animals and women.
I chose to keep close to the original story and just extended with add characters from various stories since as Little Boy Blue, Humpty Dumpty, Mother Goose, and King Cole. They bring a sense of wonder to the story that I was blessed to put on paper, so click on the book section and have a look. You won't regret it.
